Henri de Jouvenel, French High Commissioner of Syria, left Palestine on Saturday.
During his visit the French High Commissioner was the guest of Lord Plumer, High Commissioner of Palestine. He was given a state reception at the Government House here.
Many important questions concerning cooperation between Syria and Palestine were discussed and satisfactory results were reported to have been reached.
It was also stated that during his visit the question of the cession of the Lebanon coast line to Palestine was taken up, although in an official interview, the French High Commissioner made no reference to this matter.
