General Arnaud, French High Commissioner for Syria, is proceeding to Amman in order to confer with King Hussein.
The Arab Executive announces that an Arab Congress will be held during Hussein’s visit, either in Jerusalem or in Amman. Delegations from all Arab countries will participate. The statement says further that the Anglo-Arab Treaty will be thoroughly discussed by the members at the Conference before King Hussein will sign it. Special attention will be devoted to the clauses regarding Palestine. The Arab Executive issued a manifesto urging all Arabs in Palestine to flock to Amman to show their solidarity with King Hussein.
