One Israeli policeman was killed, two were seriously wounded and three were slightly injured when an Israeli patrol boat on Lake Kinneret was fired upon by Syrian troops today, a military spokesman announced here.
The spokesman revealed that the incident had been submitted to the Israel-Syrian Mixed Armistice Commission by Israel. He said that gunfire and mortar shells were directed at the vessel from Syrian positions on the eastern bank of the lake.
