Syrian gunners opened fire today on a tractor on an Israeli field east of Haon, on the eastern shore of Lake Tiberias, slightly wounding one Israeli.

The field work was resumed by the Israelis after the shooting, and continued until darkness with no further interference. Israel complained to the United Nations Israel-Syrian Mixed Armistice Commission. The site of the attack is an area which has always been cultivated by Israeli farmers.
