A tablet in an ancient synagogue unearthed by the workers of the Jewish Palestine Exploration Society places the date of the creation of the world 7400 years ago instead of 5680 as calculated by the Jewish calendar, according to Dr. Nahum Slousch, Director of the Jewish National Palestine Exploration Society.
Dr. Slousch who addressed the Judeans at the Hotel Astor declared that the National Museum of the Jewish Exploration Society will be formally opened upon his return to Palestine.
American members of the committee in charge of the Museum are Dr. Cyrus Adler and Felix M. Warburg.
