The American Committee for the Weizmann Institute today announced that Brig. Gen. Julius Klein of Chicago has established a Robert A. Taft Memorial Fellowship at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovoth, Israel.
In making the grant to Abraham Feinberg, president of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute, Gen. Klein stated: “No one in America has fought harder for humanity and for the rights of individuals than my beloved leader and friend, the late Senator Taft, and no one has done more for Israel than the United States and Senator Taft.”
