The Foreign Office today denied a report from Cairo at the British Government has protested to Egypt against the political activities the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem.
A spokesman, however, did not exclude the possibility that British Ambassador ##r Ronald I. Campbell had made representations on his own initiative, and had not ?t informed London. The spokesman added that as far as he knew the Foreign Office ?s not contemplating any such step at present.

Laski also called Britain’s failure to carry cut the findings of the Anglo-American Palestine Commission an “outrageous blot on the record of the Labor Government.”
