The Tammany executive committee yesterday nominated Louis L. Kahn, prominent Jewish attorney, as the Democratic candidate for city court judge to fill the vacancy left by the appointment of Justice Bernard L. Shientag to the state supreme court. It is expected that Mr. Kahn will be named to fill out Justice Shientag’s unexpired term so that he can campaign in the Fall elections as a sitting judge.
