The Tel Aviv town council today banned a conference called to organize the National Workers Union, it became known here. Vladimir Jabotinsky, leader of the Revisionists, right wing Zionists, who are the originators of the movement, immediately protested to Mayor Mey Dizengoff, who replied that all conferences are prohibited during the Levant Fair. The conference was to have been held during Passover.

The Revisionists have opposed the Histadruth, the Central Palestine Labor Federation, on the grounds that the organization is Socialistic. Frequent clashes have taken place between the Revisionists and the Laborites. Revisionist workers have been planning to form their own unions in Palestine, since they are opposed to the Histadruth. The Revisionists even demanded that the Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine, expel the Histadruth on the ground that it is Marxist and opposed to national interests.
