A proposal to build a public park to bear the name of the late King Albert of the Belgians is under consideration here.

The local municipal council, at its last meeting, appointed a committee to look into the matter. At the same session it was announced that negotiations had been completed between the municipality and the son-in-law of the late Dr. Max Nordau for the reclamation of a stretch of land on the seafront.
