The Prudential Assurance Company, Ltd., of London, has granted a loan of £60,000 to the Tel Aviv municipality for the purpose of constructing schools in its municipal area. Authorization of this loan by the High Commissioner has just been issued as a special order-in-council in the Palestine Gazette. The Prudential has £275,000 invested in Palestine, it is stated.
