The graduation exercises of the Gymnasia Ivrith, the first model Hebrew high school in Palestine, were held here yesterday.
Col. Robert S. Symes, acting High Commissioner, distributed the diplomas to the graduates. In his address the Acting High Commissioner stated the government appreciates the value of Jewish education in Palestine. It has not increased its subsidy for this purpose only because of lack of funds, he stated.
