An appeal for books to fill the shelves of the Tel Aviv Municipal Library has been received by Jacob R. Marcus of the Hebrew Union College.
The appeal points out that the beautiful building has few volumes because the Palestine Government does not look with favor upon an appropriation for the library.
The library of the all-Jewish city, the appeal says, needs reference books of a general nature as well as books of Jewish interest.
