The government is selling the Tel Aviv municipality a plot of land for a school at $2 a square meter, which will bring the cost to about £100,000, it was revealed at a municipality meeting here. A strong protest was registered against the action of the government in demanding payment for its land. It was pointed out that in other countries governments assist local authorities embarking upon enlarged educational programs, whereas the contrary is the case in Palestine.
