Orthodox Jews demonstrated here yesterday against Sabbath bus transit. However, the demonstrators, gathering to halt bus travel, discovered that a last minute decision had halted all bus transit until the Sabbath was over. The demonstrators thereupon vented their emotions against passing private cars, stoning every automobile, and clashed with police trying to clear the roads. A number of the rioters were injured.
