All shopwindows in this city were blacked out at 7 P.M. tonight in a demonstration of sympathy by shopkeepers for striking milk delivery men.
The milkmen have been unable to come to an agreement thus far with the Food Controller, who has ordered them to make daily deliveries of milk rather than the three times a week deliveries of the past. In the event that the deadlock continues, the storekeepers association will call a one-day stoppage of all shops in the city.
