Tel Aviv, only all-Jewish city in the world, wants $1,000,000 of its recently approved $5,000,000 loan to be used in a program of public works, it was disclosed here today.
The city’s municipal government has instituted negotiations with the Palestine government seeking approval of the project. Confident that approval will be granted, Tel Aviv announced that it is starting work tomorrow on a public works project involving an expenditure of $200,000.
