A warning to Jews the world over to discontinue anti-German propaganda on the threat that, otherwise, the position of the Jews in Germany will be made worse, appeared today in the Voelkische Beobachter, offical organ of Chancellor Adolf Hitler, under the signature “A. R.”, believed to be that of Dr. Alfred Rosenberg, head of the Nazi party’s foreign affairs department. Dr. Rosenberg is editor-in-chief of the paper.
“The situation of the German Jews may become worse in case world Jewry does not give up its plans for destroying German economy”, the article declares. “We will watch this, therefore, during the forthcoming months.”
The article admits that there are individual Jews in Germany who, it says, are honestly pro-German. “However, they must carry their fate just as the rest of the Germans are compelled to bear the common fate of 1918.”
