Ten thousand people are expected to take part in a peace parade and demonstration to be held next Saturday afternoon as part of the Good-Will Week celebration, according to an announcement by Frank Imstead, grand marshal of the “Not More War Parade,” committee.
Among the sponsor of the parade, representing hundreds of peace, religious and labor groups, are Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, Rabbi Louis I. Newman, Norman Thomas, Dr. S. Parkes Cadman, Dr. John Haynes Holmes, Dr. Ralph W. Sockman, Dr. John Howland Lathrop, Dr. John Howard Melish, Kirby Page and Dr. John Nevin Sayre.
