352,000 cases of malaria were registered in the Ukraine this year, it is officially reported to the headquarters of the Jewish health organization “OZE” here. During the whole of 1923 there were not quite 100,000 cases. The epidemic was strongest in the provinces of Ekaterinoslay, Odessa and Charkov, particularly among the Jewish section of the population. Of 11,000 patients who were treated during the month of June by the ambulatories of the OZe, 23% (2,600) were stricken by maleria.
