A private car was blown up in the railroad yards here this morning and an attempt was made to set fire to the tracks near the Central Station. Arab bandits held up two taxis.
A Jewish policeman and two Jewish stevedores were seriously wounded yesterday and two other stevedores less seriously injured when they were stoned while on their way to work by Hauranis who barred the harbor gates.
Two bombings yesterday were being investigated by the police. The automobile of Aziz Hayat, one of the richest local Arabs, was destroyed by an explosion. A bomb also destroyed the home of Youssef Bey Salah. It was suspected the bombings resulted from refusals to contribute funds for Arab terrorists.
