Members of the women’s wear industry will honor Rabbi Joseph Schick on June 26 on the occasion of his twentieth anniversary in the rabbinate and in appreciation of his spiritual services to them.
The testimonial will be in the form of a reception-meeting which will be held at the Hotel New Yorker. Judge Hyman J. Reit has accepted the chairmanship of the committee on arrangements and associated with him as vice-chairmen are Sol Bloom, Maurice Cross, J. J. Dorman, August Dreyer, Herman W. Gordon, Samuel Levy, Gordon V. Lyons, Leonard L. Rothstein, William I. Sirovich and Sol Wood.
The testimonial committee includes Sol Atkins, Jack Bowdan, Samuel David, Michael Dresener, Dr. Paul Feinsod, Samuel E. Goldstein, Al Greene, Max Gurevich, Edward N, Hartstein, Irving A.
