Resignation of the influential United Bavarian Societies from the Nazified German – American Conference, as revealed by the Jewish Daily Bulletin recently, has dealt such a severe blow to the latter body’s prestige that it will eventuate in revision of the conference’s entire make-up, The Bulletin learned yesterday.
The more level-headed officials of the conference, who saw in the Bavarians’ withdrawal a warning of further disaster yet to come, have been closeted in several conclaves aimed at formulating plans for gracefully backing down from extremist views temporarily forced down their throats by fly-by-night and upstart elements.
Proposals all have been in the direction of turning the conference
