The 10th anniversary of the peak in the exodus of Jews from the Soviet Union will be celebrated Wednesday in Washington. Jewish groups and members of Congress are expected to attend the reception recalling the hundreds of thousands of Soviet Jews who were finally allowed to leave their country. The commemoration coincides with a photo exhibit about Soviet emigres in Israel, on display in the U.S. Senate this week.
