The 33rd Zionist Congress ended with the adoption of a resolution supporting the work of the committee working to devise a solution to the issue of religious pluralism in Israel. The resolution also calls on Israel to take into account the views of Diaspora Jewry when any changes to Jewish-status issues are considered. Some of the Orthodox delegations voted against the resolution.
