The absence of Dr. Stephen S. Wise from the “Third Seder” celebration of the National Labor Committee, at which Professor Albert Einstein was the guest of honor, was due to the death of Abraham Freedman, vice-president of the Free Synagogue, the League for Labor Palestine announced yesterday.
Dr. Wise was scheduled to speak at the affair last Sunday. He sent a telegram of regrets.
