The Amon Ben Natan Chair in the Tel Aviv University School of Economics was dedicated Thursday in memory of the son of Israel’s Ambassador to France Asher Ben Natan who was killed on the Golan Heights on the second day of the Yom Kippur War while containing, with 15 tanks, an onslaught of several hundred Syrian tanks. A delegation from France and Germany, from where the funds for the chair were raised by friends of the Ben Natan family, attended the ceremony.
