The Anti-Defamation League is expressing concern that France “conferred legitimacy” on the leader of Hezbollah. In a statement, the ADL said that it appreciated French President Jacques Chirac’s words at a recent Francophone Summit in Lebanon, but was disappointed that Chirac spoke while Hezbollah’s leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, sat on the podium.
