The Argentine Catholic Church held a memorial Mass for the 115 people killed in the March 17, 1992, bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires and the July 18, 1994, bombing of the city’s Argentine Jewish Mutual Aid Association, known as AMIA. The service at a cathedral in a Buenos Aires suburb was attended by Jews as well as Christians. The Argentine government has been unable to solve either of the attacks.
