The attorney for admitted Nazi guard Jakob Reimer accused the U.S. government of having no proof that his client was directly involved with the slaughter of Jews in wartime Poland. Ramsey Clark’s charge came while cross-examining the prosecution’s main witness, a Holocaust historian. Government prosecutors are seeking to strip Reimer’s American citizenship because of his alleged activities during World War II.
