The attorney general of the Palestinian Authority said he has resigned after serving less than a year in office. Fayez Abu Rahma was quoted as saying that he quit because of “interference and obstacles” preventing him from doing his job properly. The Palestinian justice minister, Freih Abu Medein, said Rahma quit for health reasons.
