The Bar Mitzvah year of the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary here was marked in ceremonies at which Marcelo Rittner of Buenos Aires was ordained as a rabbi. The event culminated three days of deliberations by representatives of Latin American Reform synagogues. Graduates of the seminary serve as rabbis for congregations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela. Representatives of Liberal congregations from Sao Paulo, Peru and Chile took part in the ceremonies and discussions.
