The Canadian government vowed to develop a plan to fight anti-Semitism and racism. The pledge came during a meeting with Canadian Jewish groups, the Simon Wiesenthal Center said. The promise came after a series of anti-Semitic attacks in the Toronto area over the last few weeks. The government also pledged to confirm Israel’s right to exist, the center said.
