The Chabad on Campus International Foundation is offering free Chanukah menorahs to Jewish students. The program, now in its second year, is focusing on students on campuses not served by one of the 100 Chabad Houses that deal with college campuses. The foundation sent 1,500 menorahs to Jewish students last year. Spokesmen for the program say they expect more requests this year because Chanukah falls during the semester rather than over winter break. Students can request the free Chanukah kit, including menorah, candles and explanatory booklet, at www.chabad.org/hanukkahevents.
