The Israeli Ministry of Religion today announced that ten Christian congregations functioning in Israel will have their properties returned. A committee has been formed by the Ministry to release church property from custodianship.
The Ministry also established a special committee to make arrangements for a large number of pilgrims who are expected to visit Jerusalem and other cities in 1950. The committee includes representatives of the Prime Minister’s office and of the Ministry of Interior.
