The Clinton administration plans to work toward Middle East peace “for as long as we are in office,” U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said. She spoke a day before President Clinton’s envoy, Dennis Ross, was slated to arrive in the region for talks with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat.
