###The conferences adopted resolutions calling for; Israel Government action to aid Hungarian Jews to migrate to Israel; the building of 100 housing units for Hungarian immigrants near Tel Aviv and another 70 near Nathanya; the publication of a Hebrew-Hungarian dictionary; the establishment by the organization of a cultural center at Tel Aviv; and, the re-naming of Kibbutz Maagan, near Lake Kinneret, in honor of Chana Szenes. It was also decided that Dr. Frederick Gorog, former head of the Joint Distribution Committee office in Budapest, will head the New York office of the Federation, while Dr. M. Marton, editor of a Hungarian newspaper here, will direct the Tel Aviv office.

It was revealed during the Congress that the General Federation of Hungarian Jews had been invited to send representatives to the session here but that no answer to the invitation had been received from Budapest. According to reports submitted to the Congress, 55,000 Jews in Hungary have registered for emigration to Israel.
