The Czechoslovak Foreign Ministry has turned down repeated requests by Israel for the release of Mordechai Oren, Mapam leader, and Shmuel Orenstein, employe of the Israel Legation in Prague, who are serving long prison terms as “espionage” agents. A sole concession has been to permit the Israeli authorities to send money to the two imprisoned men.
