The dedication of the newly completed Emmanuel Synagogue, Hartford, Conn., will be held Sunday afternoon. The visiting congregational heads who will be present include Rabbi Abraham J. Feldman of Hartford, Rabbi Harry Schwartz of Waterbury, Rabbi Grishon Hadas New Britain, and Rabbi Isaac Hurwitz, of Hartford.
Dr. Louis Finkelstein of the faculty of the Jewish Theological Seminary of New York City will be the principal speaker at the exercises.
Other speakers who will take part in the various programs during the week include the Rev. Rockwell Harmon Potter, minister of the Center Church of Hartford, the Rev. Dunlop James. Secretary of State Francis A. Pollatti. United States District Attorney George H. Cohen, Alexander U. Zincke, president of the New York Branch of the United Synagogues of America. Former Senator Herman P. Koppleman will also address one of the dedication meetings.
Rabbi Silverman gave the dedication sermon Friday night.
