The Dutch government has expressed its “disappointment” at the South African Premier’s visit to Israel and the possibility of closer ties between Israel and South Africa. The spokesman of the Dutch Ministry for Foreign Affairs said here that this sentiment has been conveyed to Israel both through diplomatic channels and through Dutch Labor Minister Jacob Boersma who visited Israel recently at the invitation of the Israeli government.
