The editor of Israel’s biggest newspaper called for a New York-style crackdown on crime. “What we need is a kind of Rudy Giuliani, who will decide that the violence on our streets is more dangerous than, say, the possibility of a Syrian invasion,” Rafi Ginat wrote Tuesday on the front page of Yediot Achronot, referring to the famed former mayor of New York City.
