The eighth annual Jewish Film Festival opened in Berlin. Among the films to be screened during the June 9-19 festival is the controversial documentary by German TV journalist Esther Schapira, “Three Bullets and A Dead Child,” which examines the September 2000 shooting death of a 12-year-old Palestinian boy, Mohammad al-Darrah.
