The European Union called on Israel to stop its use of “indiscriminate force” in the Gaza Strip. “The E.U. presidency strongly deplores the indiscriminate use of force by the Israeli Defense Forces, which only fuels the vicious cycle of violence,” said an announcement by Greece, which holds the rotating E.U. presidency.
