The family of missing Israeli airman Ron Arad is suing the Shi’ite activist charged with delivering Arad to Iran. The Arad family filed a $23 million suit in Tel Aviv District Court on Wednesday against Mustafa Dirani, who is believed to have held Arad captive and handed him over to Iran in good health in 1988. Arad survived an ejection from his plane over Lebanon in 1986, but has not been heard from since.
