The FBI is taking several steps to combat the globalization of terrorism, FBI Director Louis Freeh told B’nai B’rith International’s convention. The FBI has established offices within American embassies around the world to serve as liaisons with host countries, developed rapid-reaction teams that can immediately be sent overseas in the event of an attack, focused on disrupting terrorist fund-raising efforts and run training programs for FBI personnel and their foreign counterparts, Freeh said Monday.
