The first annual Gail Rubin Prize, in memory of the American photographer who was murdered by terrorists on the beach during the raid on the Tel Aviv-Haifa coast road last March, was awarded at the Hadassah Community College here. The prize for the best woman photographer in the first-year class of the photography department of the college went to 21-year-old Orna Malinsky of Tel Aviv. The prize was created by the family of Roslyn Brecher, national Hadassah Israel Education Services chairman, relatives of Miss Rubin.
