The first hearing in the civil suit brought by Madam Petlura against Sholom Schwartzbard will take place here on Tuesday. The widow of Semion Petlura called a number of new witnesses for the trial M. Henri Torres, Schwartzbard’s counsel, will appear at the trial to represent Schwartzbard. He has called a number of witness to testify.
It was learned here today that a committee of Ukrainians is colleting material to submit to the court in defense of Petlura.
