The four Knesset members representing the State List Party were rebuffed today in their attempt to refuse the salary increase voted by the Knesset last Wednesday. The four men, former Rafi Party members loyal to their resigned colleague, former Premier David Ben-Gurion, were literally forced to accept the increase in a ruling that they could not reject it. The $371 monthly salary was raised to nearly $429, plus expenses, representing 70 percent of a Cabinet minister’s pay.
