The fourth annual Judaica auction was held in Budapest. The highlight of the Nov. 25 auction was a 19th century Megillah that sold for about $5,000. The auction drew local, foreign and Internet bidders, and included items from two private collections. The auction’s organizer, Rabbi Tamas Raj, told JTA that next year’s auction is already planned for March. The catalogue of the latest auction can be accessed at www.judaica.hu.
