The fundamentalist group Hamas threatened new terrorist attacks against Israel after the body of a Palestinian found dead in the West Bank this week was identified as a top Hamas fugitive. Palestinian security officials said Mohiyedine al-Sharif was shot dead before his body was planted in a car and an explosion was set off. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu denied any Israeli involvement in the incident.
